Tatiana Melendez

I grew up competing in competitions and performing at conventions. I attended many conventions including NYCDA where I was named first runner-up at the NYCDA Nationals in 2012 and 2014. I also competed the World Ballet Competition in 2011, where I won gold medal, and also won 1st place silver medal at WBC in 2013. Eventually, I became drawn to ballet and now focus on it more. I now attend Houston Ballet Academy's year round program in the Professional Division which I joined in August 2015. At HBA, my day consists of 6 to 8 hours of dancing a day starting with a ballet class, followed by pointe, pas, or variations, then modern or contemporary. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Godatu family as a Godatu Ambassador.
